Long time before the labor migration of Turks to Germany, Germans of all professions settled in cities like Istanbul, Ankara and Bursa.  For the first time a cooperation event between ZMO and the Yunus Emre Institute opens the floor to descendants of these "Turkey-Germans" for an exchange. Leibniz Fellowships "Historical Authenticity"

ZMO is partner of the Leibniz research alliance "Historical Authenticity". For the academic year 2016 the alliance invites applications for up to three fellowships.  These one to three -month fellowships provide an opportunity to research in the alliance’s research field and its main topics in cooperation with one of the participating institutions.
